Huh. A couple of free minutes. Quite a rare thing, in fact. School is such a strange thing - primitive, yet requiring so much time. In other words, I am overworked again, so no wonder I show up on DA only occasionally. A good example - writing my extended essay (4000 words +all the footnotes and abstracts and appendices and bibliography and quotes and whatever, which make another 4000 words) in literature three nights in a row. And the damned thing is not ready yet - I created three versions one after another and destroyed the first two, since they obviously sucked. My parents start giving me weird looks. I wish I did not have to sleep.

Yeah, I am going home for a well earned 2 week vacation. No school, no parents, no siblings, no loud people, NO WORK, no nothing - just me and the the cold gray sea... Well, today I am turning 18... Goodie goodie for me, in fact. Not that it was particularly jolly for me, but I can't change it anyway, so why bother? Actually, I am quite content with myself. This far I have lead a pretty normal life, with a strong family and a couple of good friends, combined with numerous acquaintances. There was even a period when I enjoyed going to school (OK, OK, that is not completely normal, I admit). Never smoked a cigarette, never got drunk, never used drugs; never got that strange long-time teenage depression, which makes one do weird stuff. Never been a rebell, in other words.
